Ready to celebrate the beginning of Fall? Us too! This Autumn Salad with Maple Vinaigrette is fresh, crisp and flavourful. Feel encouraged to use your favourite seasonal apples, nuts or seeds and cheese as toppings.

Remember when making awesome salads, to have different flavours and textures: 🙌

  • Something sweet (apples, maple syrup, craisins)
  • A crunch (walnuts, pumpkin seeds)
  • Something savoury (goat cheese)

We also want to lightly dress the greens for flavour but not soggy. Sprinkle of kosher salt, if desired, to help flavours pop too.

Autumn Salad with Maple Vinaigrette Recipe


  • Prep time: 15 minutes
  • Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups salad greens (Kale), chopped
  • 1 red apple, unpeeled and chopped
  • 1/3 cup goat cheese, cubed
  • 3 Tbsp craisins or raisins
  • ¼ cup of walnuts & pumpkin seeds,unsalted

Maple Vinaigrette

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions Autumn Salad with Maple Vinaigrette:

  1. Chop and clean kale and place into large bowl.
  2. Add chopped apple, goat cheese, craisins on top of salad greens.
  3. Toast walnuts and pumpkin seeds in the microwave for 30-60 seconds to boost flavour. Top salad with roasted nuts.
  4. Drizzle Maple vinaigrette to lightly coat greens. Toss to combine and add sprinkle of salt. Taste to adjust seasoning.
